Having been a long-time Gaim user on Windows, the first thing I did upon buying a G5 with OS 10.3 was install X11 and start downloading the necessary dependencies… until a friend pointed out Fire. Downloaded it, and I’m an instant convert. I only wish you folks would port Fire to Windows, as it has the best IM interface I’ve seen yet.

- Completely new ICQ support
- Integrated bundles.  It was too hard for many users to install their
  own bundles.  I only read bundles from inside the app wrapper - you
  can remove your old Fire bundles.
- Flashing window are back
- DP4 UI changes
- support for spell checking in the send window
- old style idle code re-implemented
- AIM will now only register the first 100 buddies ...
